Examen guide: how each feature works
Examen turns your days into records you can look back on. Say it in chat, AI fills it in, and you confirm before it's saved. Over time, you can see where your time and money actually went.
How it fits together
Write goals by time frame and attach daily tasks and habits. Log the time and money you spend as you go. Check Today for the day; look back in Analytics and Insight.
Fastest way to log
Just say it in chat: type, hold to talk, or send a photo. For example "ran 30 minutes today" or "lunch 35". AI fills in the category and amount for you to check, and nothing is saved until you confirm. You can also add entries by hand on each records page. (Amounts are in RMB.)
A few terms
Goal: something you want to get done, written for a time frame, with tasks and habits underneath. Task / Habit: concrete things to do; a habit repeats. Time log / Spending: time and money spent, totalled by category. Category: a standard set is built in, and you can add your own.
AI bookkeeping
Type, hold to talk or snap a receipt; AI drafts it, you confirm. It only does what you ask; it won't guess and create things on its own.
Bill import
Bring in WeChat Pay and Alipay bills and catch up on past spending in one go.
Habits
Tap once a day, fill in a missed day, look back on a calendar.
Time log
Note where your time went and see it by week or month. You can also ask, "how long did I exercise this week?"
Goals
Write goals for this week, this month, this year and beyond, and attach tasks and habits.
Insight
Once you've logged enough, a look back built only from your own records.
Groups
Share tasks and goals with the people at home; family members can't see your personal records.
